I’m still reeling in the purple haze of magnificent and humbling visions; a phantasm of color, form and energy beyond the scope of my unbridled wanderings. Nope, not a night at a sultry Hookah lounge, c’mon now (what are those anyway?), rather an afternoon at the IMAX theatre. A beguiling hour of spiral galaxies, cosmic pearls, exotic clusters and my new love…the Orion Nebula’s Star Nursery. The distance between my beating heart and the very tangible revelation of something 60 million light years away was intimately profound. The explorative time leap from Galileo to the Hubble Telescope is beyond insignificant when looking into the eye of the universe before our own stunning planet was born. The sheer magnitude of those using both their intellectual capacity and their creative curiosity to endeavor to unlock the spiritual nature of the universe makes me wonder…what have I done with my day?
